Proposals for NERAM projects are developed through consultation
with NERAM's Partners in
Canada's private and public sectors. Once a proposal is developed,
NERAM then identifies the researchers best suited to work on the
project. Only projects with support (cash and/or in-kind) from NERAM
partners will go forward.
At its meeting in May 1998, the NERAM Steering
Committee decided to focus its efforts first on those NERAM
projects that have already attracted industry and government support
and are underway and secondly on a few projects that address key
management and policy needs in Canada.
As the Network grows, more projects will be added. For more information
